Registration

Participation at ISA2012 is open to all persons interested in atherosclerosis and associated fields.

To register, please complete the online registration form. Online registration is strongly encouraged.

Please note that all persons intending to attend the Symposium must register. Invited Speakers, Chairpersons, Exhibitors and Sponsors will be provided with specific forms and asked to register.

Full Delegate Registration

This registration fee entitles delegates to the following:  

  • Attendance to all Symposium Sessions
  • All official documentation, including program booklet, abstract proceedings and list of participants
  • Ticket to Welcome Reception on Sunday 25 March 2012
  • Morning and Afternoon Teas on all Symposium days
  • Lunch on all Symposium days
  • Official Symposium satchel

The opportunity to download the abstract book prior to the Symposium

Allied Health Professional Registration

Allied Health Professionals only (e.g. nurse, nutritionist or dietitian) are entitled to register for this category. Registrants may be asked to provide evidence of their current employment as an Allied Health Professional. This registration fee entitles delegates to the following:  

  • Attendance to all Symposium Sessions
  • All official documentation, including program booklet, abstract proceedings and list of participants
  • Ticket to Welcome Reception on Sunday 25 March 2012
  • Morning and Afternoon Teas on all Symposium days
  • Lunch on all Symposium days
  • Official Symposium satchel
  • The opportunity to download the abstract book prior to the Symposium

Student Registration

A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card. Any individual enrolled at a tertiary institution and working towards either a BSc, MSc or PhD qualifies for the student rate. Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.

Student registrants are entitled to the following:

  • Attendance to all Symposium Sessions 
  • All official documentation, including program booklet, abstract proceedings and list of participants
  • Ticket to Welcome Reception on Sunday 25 March 2012
  • Morning and Afternoon Teas on all Symposium days 
  • Lunch on all Symposium days
  • Official Symposium satchel

Please Note: A copy of your student identification card is required when you submit your registration form. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged. 

Day Delegate Registration

Day Registration entitles delegates to the following:

  • Attendance to all Symposium Sessions on your nominated day of attendance
  • All official documentation, including program booklet, abstract proceedings and list of participants
  • Morning and Afternoon Teas on your nominated day of attendance
  • Lunch on your nominated day of attendance
  • Official Symposium satchel
  • The opportunity to download the abstract book prior to the Symposium

Payment Of Registration Fees

NOTE: Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment in full is received.

Payment may be made by cheque or credit card. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are the credit cards accepted at the Symposium. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to 'Conference by arinex'.

Cheques should be made payable to 'arinex pty limited on behalf of ISA2012'. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted. The Symposium is unable to accept payments by direct transfer.

Group Registration 

The Group registration is offered when a single entity registers at least more than ten (10) individuals. The Group registration form is available on request, please email the Symposium Mangers if you wish to  register a group: isa2012@arinex.com.au 

The early registration fee will be applied when the payment is received  by Wednesday 8 February, even without the list of participants.  The final list of participants must be submitted by Wednesday 29  February 2012. Should this deadline not be met, the difference between early and standard registration fees will have to be paid in order to process the group registrations. 

Certificates of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be available via the Symposium Website at the conclusion of the Symposium.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be received in writing prior to the Symposium.

Registration Fees:

  • Before Wednesday 21 December 2011 will incur an AU$100 cancellation fee.
  • Before Wednesday 8 February 2012 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
  • After Wednesday 8 February 2012 there will be no refunds.

Accommodation:

  • A minimum one night’s deposit must be paid or credit card details given at time of booking to guarantee a reservation
  • Deposit is non-refundable at Wednesday 22 February 2012.

Social and Tours:

  • Payments are non-refundable at Monday 13 February 2012.

Insurance 

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Symposium and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Symposium, or through cancellation of the Symposium, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Symposium Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
